This interface study uses the real world location of a library with spatial features such as building stories, staircases, hallways, shelving and the books contained within them, as a model of a »data space«. The goal is to quickly and comprehensively locate all books available in the library for an individually compiled search complex, along with an overview over its spatial distribution. The synchronous entry and display feature through a double-display makes »inner« structures and ordering principles visible and the search procedure more transparent and intelligent.
