Science View emerged during the course of the European Popular Science Information Project (ISPO) and is the concept for a self-modernising television programme on science. The transmission sequence begins with the Science View intro, the relevant topic and successive preview sequences of the features, which introduce the subject with the title and a brief description. The features initially »wander« from right to left through a focus during the preview and then proceed to move in reverse sequence from left to right, finally being shown in full length one after the other.
