pReview was commissioned by Sony Europe to develop the concept and design for the playmo mobile gaming platform. The result was the creation of a demo PC version. The basic idea of the interface is to integrate the typical behaviour, interaction and design of computer games into a platform that offers entertainment, information and communication facilities related to mobile phone gaming. playmo utilises the concept of the avatar, with which the user/player identifies and through which he/she is visualised in the platform environment. This principle is also applied in the integrated localisation function, as well as in the community functions.
