pReview's development of the design guide was commissioned by Munich Re and is a component of the system of rules for organising Munich Re online media. In the same vein as the interaction guide, which was also developed by pReview, and a number of other systems of rules and regulations, its function is to optimise and standardise the design and use of applications in online media. The design guide formulates a modular design system, which defines the foundations and rules for designing online media. The modular design system guarantees efficient design and modification of applications, while at the same time making it easier to adjust parameters.
